Who benefits from Foot Heath Examinations?

A foot health examination is beneficial for anyone at risk of foot complications, especially individuals with underlying health conditions that affect circulation, nerve function, or mobility. Here’s a list of those who would particularly benefit:

 People with Diabetes

  • At risk of peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage)

  • Higher chance of poor circulation (poor perfusion)

  • Reduced ability to feel pressure, pain, or injury

  • Higher risk of ulcers, infections, and slow healing

People with Cardiovascular Disease or History of DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis)

  • Reduced blood flow to the feet

  • Prone to cold feet, discolouration, or cramping

  • May not notice tissue damage until it becomes severe

 People with Alcohol Dependency

  • Can develop nerve damage similar to diabetic neuropathy

  • May experience numbness, tingling, or unnoticed injuries

 Elderly or Immobile Individuals

  • Reduced circulation and sensitivity

  • May not be able to check or care for their feet properly

  • More likely to develop calluses, pressure sores, or fungal infections

People with Foot Deformities or Poorly Fitting Footwear

  • Bunions, hammer toes, or previous foot trauma

  • At risk of skin breakdown, blisters, or joint issues

A regular foot examination helps detect issues early, prevent complications, and promote better mobility and overall health. If you, a loved one or someone you care for is in need of a foot care examination. Please fill in the form below with your details and one of our team will call you back.
